Harmonic Reactors
For use with capacitors in both trap and detuning circuits.
Common applications include power factor correction equipment
and alternative energy. Units are
often medium voltage with BIL ratings and designed for 115
degree C rise with 220 degree UL insulation system.
To reduce cost and improve cooling, single phase units can
be designed with the inside of the coil tied to the core for
mounting on standoffs. This reduces the core insulation
needed, reducing the cost and improving heat transfer from
the core to the coils for cooling.

- reactor type (i.e. capacitors in series or parallel with

- system voltage and required BIL rating
